Help Guide to MLS Query Tools

TerraFly’s point data page contains a category called Realtor Professional Interface. The tools in this section allow one to query nearby properties.

One can query the nearby properties by the type such as single-family homes or condo/townhouses. Within each type, one can select criteria by the number of bedrooms or the list price. These queries are executed by clicking on the respective criteria. For example, if one wants to find the single-family homes with 3 bedrooms, one would click on the “3 bedrooms” link under “Single Family Homes (RE1) Query:”

When one executes a query, the GeoQuery page opens up with the list of properties. The first section of the page allows one to modify the results with more detailed criteria such as a keyword or status of the property. The map illustrates where the listed properties are located.  The details of the listings are displayed along with a picture (if available).  Next to the map, “Current Format” displays the format used in this page view. You may also select one of the other formats to change the view for the listings.
